Barbuda’s Frigate Bird Sanctuary is one of the largest in the world with over 5,000 frigate birds inhabiting Codrington Lagoon.  At breeding season, males have a remarkable scarlet throat pouch inflated like a balloon.  Get an up-close look at these birds with wingspans of four to five feet by private boat with an experienced native Barbudan guide.  Guests depart Coco Point Lodge by taxi for the 25-minute ride to the boat dock and enjoy a 45-minute boat ride in the Lagoon before returning to the Lodge.
